At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire. Our charity shops and online selling platforms play a significant role in raising funds to enable us to provide our services.

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, dynamic retailer to manage our successful charity shop in Warwick.

As Shop Manager, you’ll ensure the smooth running of a profitable charity shop, providing a brilliant shopping experience and acting as Myton’s face onto the local community.

Our Shop Managers:

  • Manage and recruit volunteers
  • Design the shop layout and enticing window displays
  • Generate high-quality stock donations
  • Undertake administration
  • Handle cash, stock deliveries and collections
  • Maximise sales through Gift Aid and our Weekly Lottery

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Retail experience
  • Experience of managing a team of volunteers
  • Confidence in calculating figures and working with financial targets

Other roles you may have experience of could include: Retail Manager; Store Manager; or Retail Store Manager.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role including the children’s barred list. We will arrange this check if appointed and cover the cost.
